Candle Holder in Green and Oxide Brushwork

Dinner candle holder in Moss and navy brushwork using oxides, wheel-thrown in flecked stoneware.

The oxide brushwork varies from peice to piece.

Moss is a verdant green glaze with a soft satin to gloss finish (where applied thinner), and is inspired by the dense moss found in shaded forest interiors and covering Yorkshire's dry stone walls. 

I purposefully leave my fingerprints at the bottom from dipping into the glaze bucket.

Please be aware all items are hand-thrown on the wheel by me and glazed using my own glazes, so there may be signs of slight 'imperfection'/dissimilarities in form and glazing between each piece. All items are dishwasher and microwave safe, though it's always recommended with handmade pottery to hand-wash where possible!
